Leah.   I see what you mean, but you have not mentioned when you had the procedure.  If the asymmetry persists, it looks like you may need a revision, which is not uncommon. Talk to your surgeon. Good luck!

You didn't provide a time frame for your procedure.  Lip swelling following injections is common.  Fat is not my first choice for lip injections as the longevity of the fat is not predictable and actually fat does not tend to last very long when injected into the lip.  Swelling can be asymmetric in the immediate post procedure period but after a few days you should be able to see your expected result.  If the asymmetry remains in the lips then you will likely require further fat injections to the side which you feel appears flat and untouched.  

it will take you a few weeks to settle.  I suggest having patience and after 4-6 weeks if you are unhappy to consider treatment options.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Thank you for your question and sharing your photo. This is common after fat transfer. It is important to remember there will be swelling as well that can appear to be uneven. Thank you for your question. It is completely normal to have unevenness between two sides after fat transfer due to swelling. The photo is from immediately after the procedure so I assume you are still in the early stages of recovery. We can only asses the possibility of asymmetry once the swelling goes down. Please be patient for a couple of weeks or so, and then re-evaluate. Lips tend to swell up a lot so, this is a very common thing when dealing with lip augmentation. Best of Luck,Dr. Miguel Mota

Immediately after almost any procedure swelling is typically uneven. You need to allow several weeks to before you can begin to evaluate evenness and three maybe four months to see the final result.

so that is the key question. For a few days after lip filling, you cn get swelling bruising and oedema, all of which will make your lip look the way it does. Thereafter you can get early scar formation which again will make your lip look uneven. I don't think you will appreciate the final volume for 2-4 weeks at least. If it is less than that since your surgery they don't worry. Hope that helps. Adam Goodwin

Some differential swelling can occur with any type of augmentation to the lip. You have to give it a few weeks for the swelling to settle down.

I don't think anyone would say it's normal to have an even swelling.
A better question is how often does this happen, what is the cause and what is the expected outcome.
It's not unusual to have mild asymmetry early after a fat transfer procedure.
The real question is how much asymmetry is there, was the procedure performed with equal amounts of fat but I'm both sides.
Regardless, you need to wait to see what your final results will be.
This will take 3 to 6 months.
At six weeks you'll have a good idea what your final results will look like but expect some decrease in volume for several months after that. 
Try to relax and not worry about it too much.
Sometimes patients need a small revision which are usually easy to do and could be done in an office setting.

It seems you had very minimal amount of fat transferred to the lips. From the pic it appears to be asymmetric, But often with fat one cannot be sure at this stage. I would review with my Doctor, feel assured that he has seen it, and then wait for the advised duration of time
