How long does it take for upper lid wound dehiscence post blepharoplasty, to heal completely? (Photo)

These openings are very small, and on the left looks like it has already healed.  The right side should be closed in a few more days. When the skin is closed you can start to wear makeup.   But always good to wait until most of the swelling and inflammation is better before adding something that can aggravate the skin. 

Thanks for your question. Sorry to hear about this! Eyelid skin is super thin and this can happen following suture removal. It looks like the left side is doing great! The right side looks like it needs a few more days. Just keep taking care of it and you'll have a good result. As far as makeup, ask your surgeon what they recommend. I usually have people wait a couple of weeks. It's not the application that's the issue. When you're removing it, you may rub your lids in a way to make the wound come apart again. That's why I advise waiting. Good luck!
