hi, i am a 28 year woman that is interested in lip lift or more importantly if i am even a good candidate for such procedure. I am a little worried since te distance (at least up close) between my nose and upper lip isnt that long, but it is still giving me very masculine look. I also dont have very thin lips, but i have zero tooth show. I guess what i am trying to achieve is more feminine look (i dont think fillers would work or i would end up looking like duck).

A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. You would be a good candidate for a lip lift.

Dear ardenberry, You can benefit from a lip lift to achieve a more feminine look. Your lips are definitely not very thin but with the lip lift, they will be fuller. As you get used to this new look of yours, you can improve the look with lip fillers if you still find it necessary. A more feminine look can also be created and supported with a rhinoplasty including an alar base reduction and some tip refinement. This treatment plan would address your issues and highlight your beautiful facial proportions.

From the picture that you have posted here it does look like you might be a candidate for a lip lift. There are several measurements that a plastic surgeon will need to make in order to make sure that this is in fact the case but a lift can provide you with a nice, natural, feminine appearing lip.
