However, deprojection cases mostly include cartilage tissue removal and when performed in excess, it can cause alar retraction which this is the case with your nostrils. This may or may not get slightly worse within the following three to four months. After this time period, you are a suitable candidate for a revision rhinoplasty. A revision with cartilage graft can address the issue you are having and give you the desired results.
