I got microdermabrasion yesterday and I have sensitive skin. I didn’t have any pain during the procedure but in between felt little uncomfortable and my aesthetician decreased the intensity. After coming back home I noticed I have got tiny red spots below my cheeks, temples and neck. Is this normal or some side effect of the treatment and I have damged my skin permanently. Although all the redness was gone in few hours and I was feeling perfectly ok but these marks are just the same even today

Answer: Redness and pigmentation after Microdermbrasion
Thank you for your question. Scratch marks are the result of the treatment being to strong. Be sure to tell your provider about your results. Perhaps consult with a few other providers for future treatments.
Absolutley doing a microdermabrasion prior to peel will help the peel absorb better, there fore creating a better (more effective) result. Make sure to protect your skin with an SPF Post procedure.
