Is it normal to have scratch marks after a microdermabrasion & chemical peel? (Photo)

Hello went in for 2nd microdermabrasion and the esthetian didn’t even ask but just applied a chemical peel after assuring me it would help with my acne scarring. The burning sensation was very intense and my skin was pretty red afterwards. A few hours later I noticed all of these tiny scratches on my face? Please help

Thank you for your question. Doing the two together is a great treatment. Microdermabrassion exfoliates the top layer of the skin and the peel penetrates further to treat the lower layers of the skin.

Thank you for your question. Microdermabrasion is a wonderful treatment for anti-aging. Thank you for your question.  There is no reason why a HIV patient cannot have a microdermabrasion treatment.  Please consult with your provider before having a treatment.
