Can you perform microdermabrasion with peel same time?

Thank you for your question. Doing the two together is a great treatment. Microdermabrassion exfoliates the top layer of the skin and the peel penetrates further to treat the lower layers of the skin.

Yes this is a combination of treatments which complement each other. The Microdermabrasion will remove the dead surface layer of skin allowing the peel to penetrate the skin deeper. Hope this helps

Absolutley doing a microdermabrasion prior to peel will help the peel absorb better, there fore creating a better (more effective) result. Make sure to protect your skin with an SPF Post procedure.

Absolutely. Performing Microdermabrasion combined with a peel will be very effective since the Microdermabrasion exfoliates the skin allowing the peel to have better absorption. I recommend staying out of the sun and using a good Sunscreen to aid in protecting your skin following the treatment.

Yes, the two procedures can be combined. Depending on the experience of your skincare provider and preference, there is no wrong way to do the treatment. Some esthetician's prefer to do the microdermabrasion first using the diamond tip hand piece (non aluminum oxide crystals) then either a Chemical Peel or a more milder Exfoliation or vice versa.

Yes, it is safe to perform a microdermabrasion along with a chemical peel. The microderm helps to prep the skin prior to the chemical peel by removing the top layer of dead skin. This allows for deeper absorption of the chemical peel.

It's absolutely fine to do microdermabrasion before a peel. As a matter of fact, that's how we do our peels in the office, microdermabrasion to slough of dead skin, followed by peel for the acids to penetrate deeply.

Medical grade facials can combine microdermabrasion and mild chemical peels (up to 60% glycolic).  However, these should only be performed in facilities where there is physician oversight.
