Hi I’m curious as to the downside of the halo treatment my doctor wants to use it in combination with the BBL at the same time can this be done on the face neck and chest? And what is the downside besides a couple days with bronzing skin? Thank you in advance I’m trying to make the best decision to lightly resurface my skin

Answer: Halo downside Truth is not much downside to Halo if performed by an experienced office. In melasma patients who are treated too aggressively or if too much early sun exposure you can get increased pigment. Otherwise Halo is a fantastic laser and any of my staff (and me too) will jump on the table for a Halo treatment at any time

Answer: BBL and HALO together Hi, There is not a downside really except maybe a little more flaking of existing pigmentation. The combination is great for added pigmentation reduction, especially if the HALO is done at setting that are more designed to address non-pigmentation issues such as deep wrinkles or scarring. The recovery time is the same even with the BBL addition. You can see the results on our webpage at Potomac Medical Aesthetics or on RealSelf.
