Thank you for your question! I recommend following up with your provider for their specific post procedure protocols. In my clinic I advise letting your skin heal for at least 5 days before engaging in strenuous physical activity that may cause you to perspire. It is also important to protect your skin from any outside elements such as sun, wind or debris. Sun exposure during the Halo healing process can lead to post inflammatory hyperpigmentation.Best of luck,Dr. Kian
I recommend following up with your Doctor for after care recommendations and their protocol for resuming exercise after your treatment. Sun protection is essential. I recommend skin care with vitamin c, b5 hydrator, silicone based scar gels with growth factors and enzymatic washes with papaya enzyme. PDT therapy can help calm inflammation. Typically I recommend adding clear and brilliant, fraxel, viva 4-6 weeks to improve results along with microneedling/prp to get the best outcomes with texture and tone. Please see an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
I do not advise. I would wait 5-7 days post before introducing sweat into the skin. The skin is still processing and healing.
In my practice we like to recommend no exercise for 5-7 days post a laser resurfacing like Halo. It is best to let your skin heal before causing excess sweating to the area treated. Hope this helps.
It would be best to follow up with your provider to discuss specific protocols. In my practice we advise avoiding strenuous exercise and sweating until after skin has healed. Hope this helps.
I usually advise waiting for any significant exercise for a week or so with a halo treatment that causes swelling (we can turn down the energy with halo to be a really light treatment). I like the redness and swelling to subside and the coffee grounds to be on the thicker side and starting to fall off. This is usually 5ish days after treatment. This is for 2 reasons: first is longer swelling, the second is risk for infection. You can certainly do light weight lifting or walking but I’d advise avoiding big sweaty workouts.
Lasers shouldnt cause you to get white or discoloration. I suggest you see an expert and get on the right skin care and long term treatment treatment plan. in our practice patients do stronger lasers every 3-4 months and light lasers, peels, microneedling monthly. For facial rejuvenation I wo...
Thank you for your question! It is difficult to assess which treatment will be best for you without an in-person consultation. For fine lines I recommend either halo resurfacing or microneedling with radiofrequency (Morpheus8). Depending on the settings of the Halo laser, there is usually 5-7...
Halo is a great way to address fine lines under the eyes since it can regenerate collagen and elastin. Platelet-rich plasma injections and with micro needling is another safe and effective option in this area. Keracell MD makes a great eye lift and contour cream and hydrating...
