I was bit by a dog on my nose a year and a half ago. The scar seems to be a hair wider than it should be, and is causing my nostril heights to not be even as they used to be. Wondering whether or not it would be wise for a surgeon to cut out the old scar and have a revision done. Is it too risky as it runs up to the front of my nose? Would I do more harm than good? I’ve heard the nose is a very risky place to try scar revision. Just want it stitched tighter so my nostrils are even heights again.
