Struggling with my oily, sensitive skin: nothing suits it. 23-year old, female.

Question

Hello...i m 23 year old female....and struggling from oily sensitive skin, nothing suits on my skin even i have consulted doctor before 1 year and he suggested me gylcolic acid but it doesn't work after some time and not even salicylic acid. If i wash face wih mild facewash i get bumps and clogged pores. I can't wear makeup and moisturizer also doesn't suits.

Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery.

Thank you for your question. Having a good skin care regime is important, to help with oily skin I recommend Retinol .5 or 1.0 a few times a week at night. This product helps with bumps, blemishes, oil, pores, and wrinkles. Next its important to have a great hydrating moisturizer; your body tends to produce more oil when your lacking in moister. SkinCeuticals has a few amazing options that wont break you out, including epidermal repair and triple lipid. If your skin is extra sensitive sometimes sticking to the basics is best, like a Cerave or Cetaphil. Lastly, its important to keep the skin protected with a sunscreen of 30+, Elta MD UV Clear is great for acne/oily skin, its very light weight and does not cause breakouts. 
Glo Minerals has a great mineral based makeup line that does not hold bacteria,  therefore is suitable for oily skin and breakouts. 
Receiving monthly chemical peels and/or Microneedling treatments help to shrink pores and keep oil under control. I recommend seeing an Esthetician for a consultation and see what options are best for you. Good Luck!
