It is very embarrassing. It started at puberty and it's getting worse, I am now 20.
Answer: Recommend doing a pink intimate or TCA cross combined with a resurfacing laser to even out skin tone and texture Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Chemical Peels On the Buttocks Yes, chemical peels can be safe and very effective on the buttocks. Just make sure to see a qualified/licensed physician or medical aesthetician working under a licensed physician with lots of experience. It will be important that they select the correct type and strength of peel to treat the hyperpigmentation safely and effectively. Keep in mind, it will take a series of peels to show any real improvement and you may want to inquire about topical treatments such as hydroquinone in combination with the peels. This area should absolutely be kept out of the sun. You may see benefits from laser hair removal on your buttocks if the bumps are from any ingrown hairs. You do have a darker skin type so be sure that any laser you are consulted on is safe for your skin type and can be effective for you.
