Visible scars and indention from brow lift. What can I do to resolve these issues? (Photo)

I had an endoscopic brow lift 2 years ago. I can see the scars at my hairline and there’s an indention from 1 of the endotines. I also have numbness on top of my head and around my hairline. Is this recovery common and what can I do to resolve these issues? Thank you.

Close-up HD photos of the indentation and of the hypopigmented surgical scar would have been very helpful. However, in general, professionally performed, manual microneedling (no need for the added expense and risks of RF microneedling) combined with the application of prescription topical  pigment enhancers, such as tyrosine and lanatoprost, can be helpful for better blending in both color and texture the treated areas with the surrounding normal tissue. It's an approach with a long track record for safety and efficacy that I have been using for these kinds of scar issues for nearly a quarter of a century with gratifying results in all skin types. As for the indentation, simple subcision, which I have been performing since 1995, and also has a long history of safety and efficacy in all skin types, can be used to elevate and smooth indented scars from all causes, including, as in this case, surgery. An intralesional injection of an anti-inflammatory agent may be considered for the source sites of the uncomfortable sensation, if the problem is believed to be related to possible entrapment of sensory nerves in the area by scar tissue.   You would be wise to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist. Hope this helps and best of luck.

What you’re describing are essentially consequences of endoscopic browlifts, not complications. Numbness can last from months to years. The indentations in the forehead are permanent, but can be improved with scar revision or perhaps fat transfer. I suggest revisiting these with your surgeon. Remember the goal was to elevate your brow and balance your forehead. If those were achieved then you can feel good about that. All the best!

An in person exam is needed for the best recommendation.  You may have improvement of your scars with microneedling or Morpheus8 treatments.  For the indentions there are several options depending on the depth and location.  The numbness you are experiencing is common after this surgery and is not a cause for concern.
