Answer: Consider getting a haircut and shaving before your rhinoplasty! You will have a dressing on your nose for around 1 week after your surgery. Once that is removed, you can shave again normally. I hope this is helpful, and I wish you all moving forward. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Answer: Dr Paweł Szychta After an open rhinoplasty, it’s usually safe to get a haircut or shave with an electric razor after 1–2 weeks, once swelling has reduced and stitches are removed. Be cautious to avoid pressure or contact with your nose during these activities. Follow your surgeon’s specific advice for the best results.

Answer: Shaving and a haircut, postop rhinoplasty You can shave and get a haircut anytime after a rhinoplasty procedure. Much more important is to choose your surgeon based on extensive experience with rhinoplasty, since this surgery is the most difficult procedure to perform correctly in the entire field of cosmetic surgery. In our practice, we only perform closed rhinoplasty, not open rhinoplasty, which avoids the external scar on the on your nose. In addition, there's no painful packing and all the incisions are placed on the inside of the nose.
