I plan on getting a BBL and then a breast augmentation as soon as I’m able to after. How can I go about maintaining the BBL results while I’m recovering from both surgeries?(6 plus months between surgeries and recoveries) Unless I can work out between getting the two surgeries? That is why I want to get the breast augmentation as soon as I can after so that I don’t loose the BBL results.

Answer: Worries about multiple procedures I think you’re making things more complicated than they actually are. I suggest slowing down the train a bit and start by having the procedure. Do you think it’s going to be most helpful. Take your time to recover then consider second procedures. You should be able to have breast surgery within a few weeks after BBL without compromising your results but I see no need to rush the decisions. The two most important variables are patient’s candidacy for surgery and provider selection. I suggest you focus your efforts and understanding of those two variables, because they’re the ones that determine long-term satisfaction. I suggest patients you begin the process by having multiple in person, consultations with local plastic surgeons in your community. During each consultation, you can discuss your candidacy for the procedure, as well as recovery, and the implication of having second procedures. When, in doubt, slow down and schedule more consultations. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
