im about 8 weeks post liposuction on my man boobs (only fat was removed since i didnt have glander problems). The thing is, i dont know if i still have swelling and things should get flatter. i can still feel firmness behind my nipples on both sides and a bit of numbness there. but the rest of the chest area is not numb. right after the surgery the chest looked better then now.

Answer: Lack of results at two months At two months, your results should be fairly close to final. There's undoubtably still some swelling, and things will change to a certain degree. If you think the results looked more impressive immediately after the procedure, then I am more optimistic that your results will continue to improve with more time. Male breast glandular tissue is typically found just below the nipple areola and can feel like a firm nodule. Numbness and overall changes in sensation can continue to change for a year or even longer. The two main reasons men fail to see great results after just liposuction is either because of skin laxity, which can easily look like remaining fat, or the procedure was not done in aggressively enough. To differentiate if there is skin laxity, raise your arm over your head. Now pinch the skin with your other hand to assess how thick the subcutaneous fat layers are.Best of luck,Mats Hagstrom, M.D.
