I have just known that my right malar implant has infected. I had surgery abroad and was checked later here by a different doctor because my right cheek was bigger after months. Now 4 months have passed and my ex maxillofacial surgeon just told me that i have a PURULENT infection of my right implant. He says only solution is removal while my cheek implant surgeon says it is still possible to fix the infection aspiring the seroma between bone and implant together with irrigation with peroxide.
