Endoscopic mid face lift, where are the incisions?

So I am a bit worried and confused because a few surgeons told me different things about endoscopic mid face lift, so where exactly are the incisions made ? not only above the ears near hairline ? some said they have to insert something under my eyes which confuses me a lot and concerns me because I am afraid it might change eye shape. Thank you

An approximately 2 cm incision is made parallel to your hair in the temple area above your ear, usually 2 cm behind where the hair starts. It does not change the shape of your eye either.

Hello from Istanbul, Turkey! An endoscopic mid-face lift primarily involves making small incisions. Typically, two 2-3 cm long incisions are made within the hairline, one on the right and one on the left. If there's a need to address the inner part of the eyebrows and/ or the center of the forehead, additional incisions may be introduced. In certain cases, incisions might also be made inside the mouth. However, it's important to note that an endoscopic facelift in itself does not change the shape of the eye. Any modifications to the eye's appearance, such as achieving a fox/almond eye look, would come from other specific interventions. Hope this helps, best of luck!

An endoscopic mid-face lift has a very narrow population that actually have indications for a good result.  So, although the incisions are in the mouth and temple area, I would seek numerous consultations before proceeding.

There are various techniques to perform midface lift. Temporal hairline incision, temporal inside hair incision, subciliar incision(insicion below eyelashes of lower eyelid), intraoral incisions are most common incisions. Most of surgeons combine more than 1 incision to get best results. My main approach is using temporal incision inside hairline 3 cm and intraoral 1.5 cm incision. Of course lower eyelid corrections can be made using subciliary incision if necessary.
