I’m 27 and have had a full face all my life. Always had prominent jowls and naso labial folds. I’ve tried filler in my chin and masseter Botox before but was wondering if I am a good candidate for a face lift? Or any other solutions? Pics for reference (including me holding up my face to where I’d like it lol).
Answer: Full face Shadypalms123 please do not get a facelift. First you’re not a candidate and your way to young. Any filler will just make your face more full. Masseter Botox is a great tool which you have tried. Another great tool is Buccal fat pad removal which is performed by an incision in the cheek from inside the mouth. A small amount of cheek fat is removed this slimming your face.

Answer: Facelifting as a viable option for younger individuals with early signs of sagging Thank you for your question and for sharing your pictures. I totally see what you're seeing and understand what you're trying to achieve. Many patients with your exact situation will try non-surgical heat based skin tightening treatments, threads and/or fillers to help achieve skin/soft tissue contraction, "lifting" and a more youthful shape. That being said, if you are open to surgery and have realistic expectations of what can be achieved, there is no reason why you couldn't get a lower facelift or in my opinion, a mini lower facelift. Understand that when you undergo such a procedure, the surgeon will be lifting the deeper soft tissue sagging that is occurring under the skin to support the tissue in a better, more elevated position. This should improve the appearance of low lying jowls and marionette folds, while also improving the jawline. Just be careful not to expect too stretched or pulled skin look because although that's what you may be seeing when you drag your lower face up with your finger, that is not what is happening in a facelift (not skin pulling, rather deeper SMAS lifting). Hope that makes sense and good luck with your research!
