What is your opinion on a combined FUT + FUE surgery to maximize the number of grafts harvested?

FUE is just a harvesting method.  It does not relate to results.  If you want to keep your hair very short you may want the FUE.  If you combine FUT and FUE you will have a shaved head with a long scar and lots of round dots during recovery.

Neck hair is not considered a permanent donor area.  FUE also leave round scars that may be noticeable around the neck.

FUE is just a harvesting method.  It does not relate to results.  If you want to keep your hair very short you may want the FUE.  If you search this website you may notice people complaining about patchy donor area and depletion after 3000 to 5000 graft surgery.

It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen.  Not every surgery is the same.  If you are having issues, contact your doctor.

Foot or leg pain and hair transplant surgery is not likely related unless you have a blood clot from sitting for a long period.  Blood clots can be a life threatening condition so contact your doctor ASAP.

It is normal to lose transplanted hairs days to weeks after surgery.  It may take 6 to 12 months to see new hairs grow out.
