Shall I use my Psoriasis scalp lotions after FUE hair transplant surgery?

I had FUE ht surgery a month ago .. Also I have mild psoriasis ... Before surgery my scalp was completely clean and now very few small psoriasis plaques occurred and this is normal .. Can I use my regular psoriasis lotions with cortisone and steroid content on my scalp .. I use dermovate scalp lotion .. I am afraid to harm my transplanted new hair ? Shall I use it or not?

It is possible that your donor area was over harvested.   It may be too early to tell so follow up with your doctor.

In theory you can harvest donor hair from any part of your own body.  You cannot harvest donor hair from another person because your body will reject it.

It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen.   There is nothing wrong with cutting your hair in general.

If there are blank spots then the blanks spots will not have hair.  This is a logical conclusion.   How that may impact your overall results is not clear until your hairs grow out. At this point, you can't do anything about it.  If you are concerned discuss your options with your doctor.

Smoking is not recommended after surgery.  This includes smoking marijuana.  If you are concerned, don't do it.

Synthetic hair transplant is not approved in the U.S. There may be numerous health issues associated with synthetic hair.
