I just had FUE and I would like to shave my head (with a razor) as soon as it is safe to do so. I started shaving regularly early on in my hair loss, so people think I shave out of personal preference not MPB as I went from almost a full head of hair to nothing. I'd prefer to keep that illusion and surprise them with a full head again in 6 months or so. Also will the transplanted hairs that fall in a few weeks appear as stubble shadow or nothing when they're in their dormant phase? Thanks!

The spike in your hair probably reflects the shortness of your hair cut. Short hair always is spiky but when it grows out, it will take on its regular character
5,500 grafts is a lot of grafts. The question is, whether all of them will survive and will give the look that you want by 12 months. However, this is still very early to determine that. Typically, by one month they should all fallout and restart to regrow after few months. One thing you could...
