Fillers for temple area? (photos)

It’s extremely hard to see your temple on each side based on the photos you sent. Yes, you can use fillers if you have volume loss in your temples.

I prefer to use a superficial filler with cannulas in this area. I have tried many different techniques and this one uses the least amount of fillers and has the best results. I use Restylane Refyne or Defyne diluted 50/50 with lidocaine and then use a 23 g cannula to inject in the plane between the superficial and deep temporal fascia. The amount of filler varies. I predict you will need at least 2 syringes for correction. It should last you a year. Areas such as temporal fusion line, orbital rim, and supraorbital area can be addressed with this technique. Hello, thank you for your question. Hollow temples can make us look gaunt no matter how old we are. This is more commonly seen in thin individuals but may be genetic or related medical conditions. The temporalis muscle sits in the fossa or hollow and is one of the muscles that help us move our jaw. This muscle can be very bulky in some and very small in others. This too contributes to how the temples look.
For people with hollow temples, options to improve the look include filling the space. This can be done with fillers (Restylane Lift, Voluma, Juvaderm, Sculptra are all options) or fat. Fillers tend to last 1-3 years in this area. It can be very satisfying to have your temples filled, but most of the options are temporary.
