Ever since I was little I’ve had this extra pocket of breast tissue near my armpit. When I touch it, it isn’t fat it feels like breast tissue. So I’m not even sure if I could do liposuction or kybella for this. Anyone have any procedures noto recommend for this? Located in SoCal

Answer: Axilla Liposuction removes fat and has a small incision. You might want to try this first. Otherwise, the tissue will need to be excised with a larger incision.

Answer: Liposuction of Armpit Tissue Hi Versatile880762 and thank you for your question and photo. Based on the photo you submitted, I would agree with you that this is likely what is known as axillary breast tissue, or breast tissue that is located in the armpit area. Depending on how it feels and how loose your skin is in the area, there are a few options. One option is to remove this through an incision and remove the extra tissue and extra skin. The second option would be to consider doing liposuction combined with skin tightening using radiofrequency, such as Bodytite. This would remove the fat and also help tighten the skin over time in the area and both are done in the same procedure through small incisions. I hope this helps answer your question.
