Tummy tuck with SVT and mild mitral valve prolapse. My cardiologist approves Sx, Is there anything else needed?

You will be fine for surgery.  You should get a letter of clearance from your cardiologist indicating that you can undergo surgery and any specific things your surgeon should know or do.  You’ll be fine.

You have done exactly what you are supposed to do--obtain cardiology clearance.  I would recommend asking your cardiologist for a letter of clearance also.   Then I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

In you are  in good health overall, most PSs would accept your cardiologist's approval for you to proceed with a TT.  In the vast majority of cases SVT is a benign condition that will not cause sudden death, damage your heart, or cause a heart attack.

Patients with cardiac history can undergo a tummy tuck as long as their cardiologist has cleared them for surgery and the anesthesiologist and plastic surgeon feel that the patient can undergo the surgery safely. Any changes to your routine or medications must be done under instruction of your surgeon and cardiologist and I would ask them directly what they recommend if anything prior to your surgery to minimize any risk of complications. No, besides your cardiologist's "blessings" and recommendations, I do not think there is anything else that you need to do.  Other thoughts: careful selection of plastic surgeon and fully accredited surgical facility will be important. Prepare yourself and any dependents for an  operation associated with significant recovery ( both from the physical, and often "emotional" standpoints).Best wishes.
