do you recommend belotero or juvederm for lips?

Belotero or restylane silk do great in the lips and is easy to get. It lasts about 4months and looks very natural.

There are a wide variety of fillers and fat that can be used for lip augmentation.  I suggest seeing a physician with experience.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Great question! Juvederm works well for lip enhancement. If this is your first time undergoing the lip treatment, then it's best to start with minimal amounts for subtle enhancement.

Belotero is a great filler for filling of soft lines around the mouth.  Juvederm is great for volume.  Depending on what you are trying to accomplish will guide the injector as to which product to use.  Lips can swell and bruise significantly at times, so allow 3 to 5 days before you have any functions where you would want to look your best.  Always best to start with one syringe and go from there.

In my office we use Juvederm,You should start out with maybe 1cc of filler and go from there. You do not want to overdo too much filler in the lips. It also depends on the look you are going for too. You can always add more filler to the lips if needed. Just remember if you are going to do your lips and you do not want to bruise you should not take any aspirins or anything that will thin the blood since brusing can occur. 

Juvederm , Belotero, or Restylane Silk all are excellent fillers for the lip. The choice of which one to use is based on what I am trying to achieve.Because there are differences in the size of the hyaluronic molecules and their inherent properties I sometimes will choose Juvederm because it is soft ,longer lasting with greater lifting properties compared to Belotero or Restylane Silk. But, sometimes I prefer Restylane Silk or Belotero because I want to use a less viscous hyaluronic acid gel to fill submucosal lines.
