Hello and thank you for your question.  Some patients with a small chin may want to consider a chin implant to help balance the face. The cost of chin implant surgery varies depending on the type of implant and geographic location.  I always recommend medpor implants with screw fixation.  These implants have a much lower risk of longterm malposition compared to silicone implants.  Silicone chin implants may look okay for the first year, but tend to become malrotated and need revision years later.  I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.

 Hi, I have performed many chin augmentations with chin implants for more than 30 years.  A weak chin creates an imbalance making the nose appear larger, the mid face top heavy and the lower face look short that de-emphasizes the lips and allows early formation of a double chin.  Chin augmentation using a chin implant will add projection to the chin creating harmony and balance to the lower face.  I have found that placement of a silastic chin implant, through a small curved incision under the chin (also allows excess skin removal) to be very safe, quick and highly effective.  I perform many under local infiltration and of course general anesthesia is also available.  The cost, in USD, ranges between $4,500 $6,500 depending on the type of anesthesia selected.  I have many international and out of state patients that have chin augmentation and fly home in 5 days.Hope this helps
