You should have no doubts about femininity of your face; it is feminine and attractive. I am not sure, at least based on your photos, that chin implant would create any meaningful change? However, moderate augmentation of your cheeks with fat grafts (works well for patients of your age) or soft tissue fillers will create more symmetry and youthful fullness in your mid-face which may be slightly "asymmetric".You should consult an experienced plastic surgeon in your area for detailed evaluation and discuss your options. Be very conservative whatever you do. Good luck.
You have nice and feminine facial features. Chin implant would make your face more masculine rather feminine. Facial fat grafting with PRP and some laser resurfacing would be beneficial to your facial features.
Hello,You have features that can be softened and others that can be strengthened to feminize your overall features. A better profile photo could help in assessing and recommending any chin modifications. I believe that your mandibular angles are strong and on the frontal view your chin also appears slightly u shaped and full. The cheeks are slightly under projected . If you agree you can temporarily alter these features with botox to the masseters and hyaluronic acid based filler to the cheeks before more permanent solutions are used.Dr. Chow
Hello and thank you for your question and photographs. It is difficult to fully asses your chin without a true lateral profile photograph. Based on your photographs, it appears that your chin is actually quite nice. You may want to consider voluma injections into the malar region. This can help feminize the upper midface. With good technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.
Contrary to your assumption, it is not clear from the photographs that a chin implant would make your face appear more feminine. To the contrary, I believe a chin implant would most likely make your chin appear too prominent in relation to the rest of your face. Rather, you would profit more from facial filler or fat transfer to the cheeks, in regions v1, v2 and v3. This would offer better balance between the middle third and the lower third of your face, and confer upon your face more of a V line appearance, which is probably more in line with the sort of change you seek.
you have a very attractive faceyet I do agree that you chin is ever so slightly smallactually it is the front half if not more of your jaw bonemore noticeable from side view than from frontI would not leap to a chin implant I would use some temporary filler lie juvaderm and do little to the chin and taper it out on either side along the jaw bone about 1/2 way backthis might be a little expensive but worth it to see if you like it and worth it because it is temporaryif you like it you might replicate it with fat or a very small implant (carved down to be even smaller)but I am hard pressed to say you really "need" anything - again your face is generally very attractive and rather well balanced love the grocery list in the background
Cheek, temple and lip augmentation would create a more feminine face. Only with strong cheek, temple and lip augmentation should modest chin augmentation be considered. You have a nicely shaped nose that would be easy to make appear over done and the cheek augmentation would balance the nose to eliminate the need for rhinoplasty. Facial fillers should give a softer appearance than implants. Synthetic fillers such as Restylane or Juvederm are quick and easy but last 6 to 12 months. Fat transfer has more initial swelling but will last many years and will be more cost effective in the long run.
Whether chin or cheek augmentation would be a complement to your face should first be assessed by computer imaging, It is not clear that either one would be benefit and you should make that judgment based on the imaging.
Thank you for the question and photos and at a consultation aided by digital photography one would be able to show you how you might look with surgery or fillers. So see some experts that use this techniqueDr Corbin
Hi, from the photos your cheeks are very flat (concave) anteriorly (in the front) and the chin is very weak which combine to create an oval shaped face. Following the beauty principles outlined in my book on face and body beauty, women look the most feminine, youthful and attractive with heart shaped faces. Heart shaped faces have cheeks that are full and round in the front. Cheek augmentation with a dermal filler or using cheek implants for a permanent enhancement will create full, round cheeks that will feminize the entire face. Chin augmentation, using a chin implant, to add projection to the chin creating harmony and balance to the lower face.Hope this helps.
Thanks for your pictures. If you have a retrusive lower jaw then a BSSRO of the lower jaw is best. A sliding genioplasty can be added to the BSSRO for better aesthetics if needed.
First of all, at ten days, you're still very much in the healing process. It may take another week or so for the bruising and major swelling to subside. Apply warm compresses to the involved areas 3-4 x's/d for 15 mins at a time. There does appear to be some asymmetry in the chin implant area...
Chin Implant removal information/and considerations: For the vast majority of chin implants, removal is straight forward most commonly using the same incision that was used to place it. The procedure is often done in the office with local anesthesia with or without some sedation, but also co...
