Can a breast lift be performed on only one side?

Women’s breasts have some degree of asymmetry. Some may be more noticeable than others. 

A breast asymmetry correction may be needed to correct the asymmetry. In most cases, this surgery may or may not involve correction in both breasts. For example, large breasts can be reduced to a more manageable size, but the amount of reduction might differ between each breast if one happens to be naturally larger than the other. The same can be said if a person wants to augment their small breasts to a larger size: one might be augmented more than the other.

Yes, it’s absolutely possible to undergo a breast lift on only one side of your body. In fact, this is a common option for women who want to treat an asymmetry. Although you’ll need an in-person consultation to better help you understand the best surgical plan for you, this is theoretically a realistic approach. And yes, having only one breast lifted is typically cheaper than a bilateral lift.

Yes, it is possible to get one breast lifted while not lifting the other.  This is very common among patients who are asymmetric.  I suggest seeing an experienced plastic surgeon to determine whether you are a good candidate for a one-sided lift .  Best of luck!
