I’m delighted to be able to write this review of mr Hansons work. I am four weeks post rhinoplasty and am extremely happy with the results. I researched many surgeons and read as many reviews as I could find. I have found Mr Hanson to be highly skilled and qualified. He is well known to be extremely skilled in the field of plastic surgery in Ireland. Before my surgery I visited mr Hanson a number of times. During these consultations he provided a clear and consistent plan while answering all of my many questions. On the day of surgery he met me again and reiterated the plan. I had no doubts waiting to undergo my anaesthetic that I had made the right decision. I’ve been told that I was ‘brave’ to get the operation but I didn’t feel that way, I was completely content with my decision knowing I was in good hands. He delivered on all of the changes and I am incredibly happy with the results. He was honest about the likely outcome and potential limitations of surgery. We had agreed on some minor changes to the appearance of my nose. The combination of these changes has had a dramatic effect on the appearance of my entire face and my overall confidence. I look like a completely refreshed and renewed version of myself. I now look in the mirror and feel happy with how I look. The entire clinic including administrative staff and nurse Rachael are incredibly helpful. They supported me through the process and were very accessible throughout the journey.

After years of chronic back and shoulder pain, limited mobility, and countless spinal injections just to manage daily discomfort, I finally made the decision to have breast reduction surgery, and it has completely transformed my life. From the very first consultation, Mr. Hanson and the entire team at The Hanson Clinic were absolutely incredible. The level of professionalism, care, and compassion I received was second to none. I felt genuinely heard and supported every step of the way. Mr. Hanson took the time to understand my pain and lifestyle, and explained the procedure with complete clarity, making sure I was comfortable and confident in my decision. I was so unhappy with my cup size, I wanted an A cup. Thank goodness for his guidance and advice as the surgical results have exceeded all expectations. Not only is the physical outcome fantastic – natural, proportionate, and beautifully done – but the relief from pain has been life-changing. For the first time in years, I’m no longer relying on injections or living in constant discomfort. I can move more freely, sleep better, and carry out everyday tasks without strain. The aftercare has been equally outstanding. Every nurse, coordinator, and member of the clinic was kind, responsive, and attentive during my recovery. With Shayleigh, Sinead and Rachael on the team I always felt looked after, never rushed, and completely at ease knowing I was in such capable hands. On top of the physical relief, the boost in my confidence and overall well-being is beyond words. I feel lighter, both physically and emotionally. Clothes fit better, I move without hesitation, and I genuinely feel like I have a new lease on life. To anyone considering breast reduction, especially those who have struggled with long-term pain like I did – I cannot recommend Mr. Hanson and The Hanson Clinic enough. Their care and expertise have truly given me a better quality of life, and for that, I will always be grateful.

This is my second procedure with Mr.Richard Hanson, after a very detailed consultation with Richard I had no hesitation in proceeding with surgery, he takes his time in explaining every step, advises you as to what he knows is best, he will never force you to do anything you don't want to do, there's absolutely no pressure to go ahead, Richard has a fantastic manner and sense of humour, and a wonderful way of helping a nervous patient relax, the results speak for themselves, I couldn't be happier, especially with the improvement in my visual field obstruction, I've had my final check up with Richards fabulous nurse Rachel which I'd like to thank her for her kindness, also Sinead, clinic manager, and the wonderful Receptionist Shayleigh, Thank you all

I went to Mr Hanson for some advice on rejuvenating my sagging eyes and face as a 57 year old woman. I initially had thought an upper and lower blephoplasty would work but after a lengthy consultation, I decided to have a brow lift and upper blephoplasty. I am so happy to have taken Mr Hanson's expert advice as this procedure has worked out better than I could have ever imagined. His experienced eye can determine the procedure that will give the best results. I would highly recommend him as he is dedicated and passionate surgeon who is warm and patient-focussed. From the outset I was made feel very comfortable and under no pressure to book for surgery .. pre consultation gave me the information I needed to decide to go ahead with surgery.. On the day of surgery I was fully informed of what the day would involve and I had no nerves .. Post surgery care was excellent .. I have few queries which were handled promptly .. It’s been a year since my surgery, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results — it’s been truly life-changing. I honestly cannot recommend Dr. Hanson and his team enough. From my very first consultation to the exceptional aftercare, they were phenomenal. No question I had was ever dismissed or treated as silly; every concern was met with kindness, professionalism, and reassurance. They were always available over the phone if I had any worries or needed advice, and follow-up appointments were arranged quickly when necessary. The receptionist was warm, friendly, and personable, while the nurse showed such discretion and empathy, handling my self-consciousness with a wonderful bedside manner. The surgery itself was done to the highest standard — the results are unbelievably neat and careful. Dr. Hanson is not only an incredibly skilled surgeon but also has a fantastic way with his patients, making you feel seen, heard, and cared for throughout the whole process. It’s been almost 3 years since my breast reduction surgery going from 36D/EE (after 2 kids, long breastfeeding + weight loss) to perfect 34C. (Ps. Had to put 2023 in the date selection during the review as the system doesn't allow reviews from 2+ years. Looks like I'm late to the party!) I cannot describe how grateful I am to Dr. Richard Hanson and his entire Team for supporting me and making my dream come true. From the very first appointment all the way through surgery/hospital stay + aftercare follow-ups, I felt heard, taken care of and very well-informed. The support from the Team was exceptional - from initial e-mails, appointments, scheduling, support with forms and admin stuff - all smooth sailing and prompt, timely assistance. Undergoing plastic surgery was a very personal decision for me at that stage of my life, when I finally decided - it’s time to focus on me. Dr. Hanson made this journey not only possible, but truly empowering!!! That made a huge difference for me when choosing my consultant. Dr. Hanson was so patient answering my gazillion questions, even the difficult and uncomfortable ones, when I asked about what can go wrong, all the what-ifs and his stats. Dr. Hanson was open and transparent without any sugarcoating and self-praise. This helped me to build more trust and rapport with him. His bed-side manners, genuine compassion & care plus fantastic skills all contributed to my successful outcome. Dr. Hanson was also very clear in what I could expect and be realistic about it, but the final result - even now after all those years - not only exceeded, but REDEFINED MY EXPECTATIONS!!! (Side note - my weight has fluctuated up and down since then and everything still kept its new shape & SIZE without going South!) It’s not only a physical change, but my confidence, comfort in my own body improved way beyond what I ever envisioned. The surgery and overnight hospital stay went very smooth and I didn’t experience any side-effects nor discomfort. I got everything for the aftercare and pain management, but I didn’t really need medication and couldn’t believe that after such extensive surgery, there was very little discomfort maybe for the first 5-7 days. It was mostly due to my back and my sleep position trying to be extra careful, but the chest area wasn’t painful. Everything healed quickly and if you are wondering about the scars - well, they are part of the process, but I can tell you that after a while, you stop noticing them. After about 1 year they were hard to notice - but would still change colour with temp. change, e.g. under shower. Now, after almost 3 years - even I have to look for them - they appear like a very fine line, lighter than my skin tone and hide in the natural creases of my body. The areola has no scarring and the line running down from the nipple area to the middle of the breast is just a little lighter when I look close and stretch my skin. All ‘scars’ are flat and there are no ‘dog ears’ on the sides where the incision ended, which was one of my concerns, but as Dr. Hanson explained to be - ‘We don’t do dog ears here’ - look it up, if you are wondering what’s that ;-) And a side note; I do have only 1 regret - that I had waited so long to get it done! On the other hand, I’m glad I found Dr. Hanson as he was fundamental in making this decision the RIGHT ONE FOR ME. Also, you know like sometimes you are happy with the result and you start to look for something else to ‘improve’ which from a business perspective, would be a lucrative, returning customer deal for the provider - well, when I started to ask about ‘this and that’ to get done as well, Dr. Hanson was very clear - it’s not time for it yet/ and/or I don’t need it and he wouldn’t recommend it with full explanation as to why. So that’s that - his a professional that will provide you with clear evaluation of your needs & wants and give you a constructive feedback, where sound medical advice comes first, rather than just a short-term ‘business perspective’. Dear Doctor Hanson, if you are reading this - thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your genuine care and all your exceptional skills that I had a privilege to experience and benefit from. I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Dr. Hanson and his team. From the very first consultation to my post-surgery follow-ups, I felt completely supported, heard, and cared for. I cannot thank Dr. Hanson and his team enough for the very positive experience I had with my abdominoplasty. From the first consultation at his office in Santry I knew Dr. Hanson was the right surgeon for me. I had wanted a tummy tuck ever since my third c section (7 years previous) as I was left with an overhang that I just wanted gone. No matter how hard I tried with diet and exercise I just could not shift it and it was really getting me down. I did plenty of research and decided to book a consultation with Dr. Hanson. He completely put my mind at ease about the surgery, thoroughly went through the procedure and answered any questions I had. I was that happy with the consultation I had myself booked in for surgery before I left his office. I had surgery in the Mater hospital Dublin. Dr. Hansons kind nature and great sense of humour put me right at easy before going to theatre. The surgery went so well and I was absolutely delighted with the results. My recovery went so well at home, easier than my c sections! And the scar healed so well. From, Dr. Hanson, his nurses, his admin team, they are just unbelievable, a wonderful team.
