Should you be monitored during an entire CoolSculpting session?

For my first chin session, the aesthetician stayed and there were no issues. The second (on the new system), she left and it was more painful. At one point I was going to call the front desk to end it but an alarm went off. I thought she’d return but she didn’t for another five minutes. The pain eased and when she returned, she said the machine stopped with 92 seconds to complete freeze (with 6:28 on clock)? I’m wondering will it still work and should they have stayed?

The aesthetician might of stayed the first time due to making sure you were comfortable as it was your first time. I know in our practice we do not stay in the room with our clients. The machines sometimes do glitch and do not send the messages immediately to the clinician that something has slipped up. The machine also has a build-in timer of 5 minutes to finish with the massage at the end. So that would explain the time on the clock. After the 35 minutes on the machine the last 92 seconds should not make a huge difference if you continue to do that after care like explained to do. - Medical Laser Therapeutics
