There has been very slight regrowth in the area i have pointed to in one of the photos. It's been 3 months since the surgery. I've had no pain. Donor area seems to be healing very well. It's just this spot. There is some redness there and I needed to know if the redness is a problem and if the hair in the area still has time to regrow? Thanks!
Answer: If you are having issues after surgery, especially with "redness" you should contact your doctor. If you are having issues after surgery, especially with "redness" you should contact your doctor. Based on photos it is difficult to assess if it is a normal part of the healing process.

Answer: The redness is because the scar is still healing, additionally if there was tension on the closure you can get some shock loss. The redness is because the scar is still healing, additionally if there was tension on the closure you can get some shock loss. Oftentimes in this scenario it will regrow within the three to six month window. If the area doesn’t regrow, four treatment options exist: The first is a scar revision to cut out the bald tissue. The second is SMP (scalp micro-pigmentation) The third is to transplant FUE into the scar The last option would be a combination of options two and three.

Answer: Redness After Transplant 3 months is fairly early still- I wouldn't worry too much about it. As long as the redness begins to fade and there aren't other symptoms with it like burning, etc. just wait it out for now. I would expect it to start evening out over the next few months. It would never hurt to get a second opinion from your doctor though.

Answer: Suffered shock loss Sometimes there may be such a early phase alopecic, bald spots in donor areas after FUE surgery, but fortunatelly most are transient. İt may happen because of over harvesting or transient post traumatic shedding /shock loss. Any way it heals and hair regrow in 4-5 months of hair restoration surgery .
