In the first 2 weeks: dryness, itchiness and having a crust on the scalp is a known process. There is nothing to worry about. This is the healing phase and and part of the natural process.
Dry skin is normal to have at this point, regardless of getting the flu. As long as it starts to go away over the next week or two and isn't accompanied by other symptoms like burning, redness, swelling, etc. then I wouldn't be concerned. Always check with your doctor though, since they know the specifics of your case.

Everyone heals differently. It isn't always related to race or ethnicity. Some Asians do fine with #2 guard some may not. This is true for Caucasians as well. Asians have BLACK hair on FAIR skin so this contrast may stand out more.

Thanks for sharing your photos. Based on them your donor side looks good and the redness is common after hair transplantation. For some patients it can take longer and for some not. Important is to follow up and to keep your surgeon updated if there will be any change.
