I am 19 years old, have uneven breasts, and overweight. Could my weight have anything to do with my uneven breasts? I don't remember having such a dramatic difference in cup size when I was in junior high. So I was wondering, if I lose weight, will they even out?

Answer: Uneven breasts Thank you for your questions and photos. Asymmetry of the breasts is not uncommon, and it is unlikely that there is connection between weight gain and your asymmetry. I recommend that you be seen in person by a board certified plastic surgeon to determine what a weight loss goal would be for you. Once you have gotten to your goal weight, you can assess the asymmetry of your breast and determine if you will need a cosmetic breast procedure. All the best,Dr. ResultsMiami, FL

Answer: Uneven breast size? Hello,Uneven breast volume or shape is very common. It is unlikely that weight gain has caused an asymmetry but it may make an existing difference more obvious to you. I recommend that you meet with a board certified Plastic Surgeon in person who will measure and recommend options for you. Sometimes, if the difference between breast sizes is large enough, your Plastic Surgeon may recommend two different sized implants. You will need to be seen in person to determine if this is the best option for you. All the best
