I am in my early 20's, no children and no pregnancies. I was officially diagnosed with PCOS about 3-4 years ago, I have had hormonal problems since i was about 11-12. for a while they thought I had hypothyroidism but my doctor said that was never the case and it was pcos. My breasts have never been "normal" and it is extremely embarrassing, they are uneven, one is much larger than the other, and they droop/sag badly. I haven't been to a doctor and I don't know what is wrong. Thanks for your help

Thank you for your question and sharing photos. I do think you would be very happy with a surgical breast lift to create a more perky look. If you wanted bigger, then implants can be done at the same time. I don't think your breasts are a direct result of PCOS. I would visit with a plastic surgeon in your area who can discuss different options with you.

Thank you for your question and photos. I am unaware of any link between PCOS and ptosis or sagging of the breasts. Unfortunately some women will have sagging at an early age. A good portion may be related to genetics. There are ways to improve both the shape and the symmetry of the breasts. Best advice is to seek a consultation with a plastic surgeon who can go over your options.

Thank you for your questions and photographs. The photos show that you have breast asymmetry and sagging. These conditions are not related to PCOS. You appear to be a potential candidate for bilateral breast lifting. Some breast tissue could be removed on the larger side to improve symmetry. The areolas can be reduced in size as well. A detailed in-person exam is necessary to confirm your condition and to formulate a treatment plan that will help you achieve your goals. Please see an experienced plastic surgeon who is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery to learn about your options.

I'm not sure we can blame your anatomy on PCOS, but the correction is the same as for any woman with ptotic and asymmetric breasts, and this is a very common complaint. A lift of both breasts and a small reduction on the larger one +/- implants if you prefer more volume.
