Will microneedling loosen the skin and is it irreversible?

No, this isn't typical after microneedling. I recommend following up with your Doctor about after care and skin care recommendations. It is highly unlikely that you should experience laxity in your skin. I am very unsure as for how you feel that is the cause or that your skin is already "loose". Microneedling stimulates collagen growth in the skin for tighting, evening out skin texture, and helps with hyperpigmentation in the skin. Following right after the treatment your pores are more open in your skin making you more dehydrated from lack of water because your skin is more exposed. It is important to follow up with a treatment serum and products that can give the skin back hydration because you may experience some dryness. Hydrate your skin more and use the best products after the treatment such as ZO, Skin Ceuticals, etc. Your skin after microneedling will bring white blood cells to fix, and stimulate more collagen growth to from.
