Lost volume on under eyes and upper cheek -- can fillers restore the volume and lift the face again?

Fillers put strategically in areas where you have volume loss can restore volume and lift your face. Voluma would be a good choice to inject into your cheeks  to lift your face.

Hi @katie1323. The upper cheek is a major support for the under eyes. So when there is volume loss there, not only do the cheeks reflect this, but the under eye can as well with the development of tear trough and under eye hollows. Addressing the volume deficit in the cheeks with the use of a volumizing hyaluronic acid filler would be a reasonable place to begin. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!

Filling the mid face, cheeks and tear troughs is an often undertreated area. I like Restylane Refyne under the eyes but you must use it sparingly to avoid swelling. Restylane Defyne would work fine for your cheeks at your age so will not look overdone. The point is not to change your face but to look well rested. JB

Fillers such as Voluma placed strategically in the cheeks can restore volume and lift your skin giving you a younger and more rejuvenated appearance. You still have good volume in much of your face, so a small amount of filler could go a long way to achieve the results you want!

Your question is a common one.  Facial fillers when used in the right place will lift the face and give you a more youthful look.  Voluma is my favorite for restoring volume in the cheek area.  To restore under eye volume I like to use Bellotero or Volbella.  Filling the tear troughs will restore volume under the eyes, but will not lift the face.  Book a consultation and your options can be explained.

For patients such as yourself, I have had good experience with Voluma.  The amount of volume with a small injection is quite impressive.  I would also say that your concerns are evident but I don't see that it is as bad as you may perceive.  I think that without surgery you can achieve the result that you desire.  
Fillers under the eyes do work very well especially if they are not too thick (low viscosity).  Restylane has a series of fillers that are quite good for tear trough deformities.
