I have seen two different doctors. A board certified dermatologist, and a plastic surgeon. Both doctors told me that putting fillers in the lines around the mouth, (parentheses lines which have happened from smiling) is unsafe because of a blood vessel in that area. They both said the risk outweighs the outcome. I just saw an aesthetician, who is under the guidance of a board-certified dermatologist, who said she had never heard of that being a problem. Is it risky to put fillers in that area?
