Is microdermabrasion for me? (photos)

I have a ton of dark marks on my face from acne I had in the past. Although most of it is cleared up I do still have the marks left behind. They have brightened over the years (I think from using my cleanser brush on a normal basis) but I'm wanting better results.

I would wait 2 weeks before having microdermabrasion, as this is the healing time after microneedling. If your skin still feels sensitive then wait a full 4 weeks.

I would guess that the scabs are from the skin cauterization. Depending on the depth of cauterization, the scabs should fall within a few days. I would suggest Melarase creams to help reduce the risk of pigmentation and to improve overall skin tone. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
