Question

Got treated with resurfx with minimum intensity. I have been applying sunscreen and fusidic acid+ betamethasone. My swelling has reduced significantly. Still some redness and pigmentation with track marks so, on day 6 my doctor asked me to take prednisolone 40 mg and apply mometasone. My concern is will this pigmentation leave my skin? And if not, can it be treated? About a year ago I have been treated wth erbium glass laser (5 times), it didn't give me any pigmentation.

Hi GINNI1203,People of your skin type have a tendency to have more sensitive skin. Were you patch-tested prior to laser? Some of the hyperpigmentation should resolve but if it doesn't, ask your doctor about cosmeceuticals containing hydroquinone.
