I have mild pore pitting, but I do have pretty large pores. I was planning on getting Photofacial and Fractional CO2 until I found out about ResurFX. I would love to save money if possible. I'll post some pictures of what my pores and pore pitting looks very similar to.
Answer: Resurfx can help minimize the appearance of large pores. Recommend pairing with a Chemical peel Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery.

Answer: Best treatment for enlarged pores Thanks for including photos with your question. The ResurFX is designed for skin rejuvenation, as it stimulates collagen production to enhance the look and feel of the skin. The procedure usually produces optimal results in a series of treatments. This may be a very good choice for you. However, I recommend you schedule an appointment with a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist that can give you an in-person assessment and create a personalized treatment plan for you. At my office, we offer more than 45 lasers so we can tailor treatments to the unique needs and desired outcomes of each of our patients. Best of luck as you pursue your aesthetic goals!

Answer: Is ResurFX a Good Option for Pore Reduction? ResurFX Laser Can Tighten Pores ResurFX is an FDA-approved, nonablative way to improve the texture of skin, including reducing pore size. The handheld laser is passed over the skin once. Its laser energy reaches down into the dermis but does not damage the outer layer of skin. It works by heating up and tightening collagen, plus stimulating the skin to heal and restore itself. A session only takes about 5 to 15 minutes. Be sure to consult a board-certified dermatologist who has experience with restoring the face and tightening pores with ResurFX.

Answer: Pores and ResurFx I think you will find every physician has their own preference regarding treatment of pores. A device like ResurFx can help with pore size. It will likely be a slow process and best done with a good topical regimen +/- PRP after the treatments. Best of luck!
