The axillary (armpit) fat can actually be breast glad. I would recommend that you see your doctor and have a thorough consultation and make sure that the underarm swelling is fully diagnosed.
Liposuction only removes a portion offat cells in the target area, and the remaining fat cells always have thepotential to expand and contract with weight gain and loss.Generally, because you have less fat cells, the potential for weight gain in the target area is less than it was, smallweight gain is always possible in the areas that have been liposuctioned.
Liposuction permanently eliminates a percentage of fat cells in the target area, so you cannot gain weight in these cells. However, the remaining fat cells always have the potential to grow and expand with weight gain. The target area will likely never get the size it was before the liposuction, but there is the potential for growth in the future.
This area is often a combination of loose skin and excess subcutaneous fat. Some women have excess breast tissue in their armpits as well. This area can respond nicely to liposuction. For those who have an excess of loose skin, liposuction becomes limited.I don't know why you would plan on gaining weight unless you're currently underweight. If your weight stays the same, your results should be permanent.Best of luck,Mats Hagstrom, M.D.
We do not have the benefit of seeing your before photos. You cannot judge your results if you "just had liposuction." It may take 2-4 months for the final result, so please hang in there and follow all of your surgeon's recommendations. Best wishes.
Hi there, constipation is very common in your situation. I am sorry for how frustrated you are. I would advise you to speak with your surgeon directly for their specific recommendations. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water and consuming food high in fiber. Best of luck. -Dr. Coan
It looks like you need to lose weight, but liposuction will decrease the overall volume of fat but will not treat the visceral fat, loose skin, or muscle weakness.
