The bottom incision of my "anchor" wound close to my sternum (for orientation purposes) is open and linear. No foul odor or pain. I can see white inside the wound. I've been keeping it very clean and dry. Any suggestions?

You definitely do not want your compression to be too tight as this could cause more problems. It should be snug enough to help reduce swelling and avoid fluid collections but not cause you pain and discomfort.
