Generally speaking, most of us have the same size eyes, with slight variations. Things around the eyes like eyebrows, upper eyelid, lower eyelid, sagging skin make eyes look smaller. When you fix it, the eyes will open up and look larger. Most of the times, we work around the eyes to make the eyes look bigger. To make the face thinner, liposuction is not advisable on the face, only on the neck. If you have sagging skin, you can lift and shape it to make it smaller. Good luck with your search, and best wishes.
Without photos, it is basically impossible to give you any kind of accurate diagnosis. However, there are lots of non-surgical and surgical options for "thinning" out a fuller face. The right one for you is really going to depend on where, exactly, the fullness lies on your face. My best advice would be for you to schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area who can assess you in person. My best,Dr. Sheila Nazarian@drsheilanazarian on Instagram
Without examining you, it is difficult to know whether or not plastic surgery is right for you. Seek consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.
Most expert experienced artistic plasticsurgeons have a variety of procedures, both non-surgical and surgical, at theirdisposal to produce excellentcosmetic results in theappropriately selected patient: Botox or Dysport, temporary hyaluronic acidfillers like Restylane, long-lasting micro-fat grafts, blepharoplasties, orcombinations of procedures. Each has benefits and drawbacks and depends ondesired outcome and individual anatomy.Following the advice ofanyone who would presume to tell you what to do without seeing photos andmore importantly without taking a full medical history, examining you, feelingand assessing your tissue tone, discussing your desired outcome and fullyinforming you about the pros and cons of each option would not be in your bestinterest. Find a plastic surgeon that you are comfortable with and one that youtrust and listen to his or her advice. The surgeon should be certified by theAmerican Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of the American Societyfor Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). You should discuss your concerns withthat surgeon in person.Robert Singer, MD FACSLa Jolla, California
There several option to achieve wider eyes as well as reduce facial fullness. Fir example, endoscopic forehead lift with eyelid surgery can help. A photograph is needed to give a more accurate advice.
Thank you for sharing your case. It is difficult to give you any specific advice without a photo. You should consider a consultation with a board certified oculoplastic surgeon to discuss your goals and what are your biggest concerns. Good luck!
Dear friendlyfellow, It is difficult to give any expert opinion without a photograph. I have enclosed a link below to attach photographs if you would like an opinion. As far as thinning a full face it depends on where the fullness is. If the fullness is in the lower third of the face then this can be accomplished with buccal fat pad removal and liposuction techniques. Best regards, Michael V. Elam, M.D.
Appears as retained cyst/chalazion. Only excision at the stage will completely remove the cystic area.
There are things that can be done to improve it. I think fractional laser resurfacing would be helpful. Make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist. Tanning is not good when lasering, so you will need to avoid sun exposure and tanning booths.
I typically remove eyelids sutures much earlier but different surgeons do things differently , depending on what is needed for each patient at the time of surgery. And in most cases, we all get good results, even using different rtechniques and practices.
