Eyebrow skin damaged after threading. Is there anything I can do?

Hello, Over a year ago, I got eyebrows threaded in a new salon. Since then, my right eye brow skin looks like it has many tiny colorless blisters. I asked my PCP and she said this is permanent damage to the skin and nothing can be done about it. Is there any treatment to restore my eyebrow skin? Thanks!

I typically remove eyelids sutures much earlier but different surgeons do things differently , depending on what is needed for each patient at the time of surgery. And in most cases, we all get good results, even using different rtechniques and practices.

What you are seeing is probably mucous, not fat. However, it is something that should be assessed in person by your surgeon so schedule an appointment. It's always best to err on the side of caution. My best, Dr. Sheila Nazarian @drsheilanazarian on Instagram

It's best to see an oculoplastic specialist or ophthalmologist for proper treatment of this condition. This condition is not usually a plastic surgery procedure.

Keep massaging the lower eyelids. There are some scar medications that can be injected to help. Also do squinting exercises. If still problem after 3 months, see an oculoplastic specialist.

Please see link below for more details on possibly obtaining more almond shape eyes. You do have inherited lower eyelid retraction with sclera show. The exact treatment depends on many factors including eyeball position, lower eyelid position, lower eyelid laxity, etc.
