Best method for reducing genetic double chin? (Photos)

Question

I am wondering what steps can be taken to reduce a genetic double chin and also create a much more defined jaw line? I have had my double chin my entire life and it run in my family.

It's best to begin by consulting with a surgeon in-person to discuss your options. During your initial examination, your #chin will be evaluated along with the neck and jawline. A weak #chin implies a lack of chin support for the skin along the neck line. In younger individuals a chin implant alone is usually all that is needed to improve the appearance of the neck. Subsequently, it will also improve the overall #balance of the face and can create the illusion of a smaller nose. As a stand-alone procedure, chin augmentation can be performed in the office under local #anesthesia. For individuals with signs of #aging in the neck, a chin implant added to one of the recommended procedures above, will provide optimal results. Liposuction under the chin is also another option your doctor can discuss. If you are not a candidate for chin or neck rejuvenation at the time of your #consultation, your board certified plastic surgeon can recommend alternatives to address your concern. 
However, there may be additional options to improve the appearance of your concern to improve the overall balance of your face. Such can be best evaluated in-person. Consulting with a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in #face, #neck and #chin procedures is important to ensure you are receiving the best advice, care, and surgical experience possible.

Thank you for your question about a double chin.  There are several different procedures that would be beneficial to you.  The surgical option would be chin liposuction.  This would use suction to remove the fat.  The second and nonsurgical option would be Kybella.   Kybella is the first and only FDA-approved injectable treatment that physically destroys fat cells to improve the appearance of moderate to severe fat beneath the chin – also known as submental fullness or “double chin.” Once destroyed, those cells can no longer store or accumulate fat.
To be sure which treatment would be best for you, see two or more experienced, licensed and board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment. I hope this helps.

Based on your photo you are a good candidate for chin liposuction, 
Chin liposuction can be an option, it makes you look younger and more
 attractive with a sharp jawline , and better facial proportions.It is 
important evaluate your pictures or a personal evaluation in order to 
give you the best option for your case.
