Chin lipo post-op dimple pit: Will it go away? (photo)

Question

I'm just over 3 months post-op on a chin implant and lipo and I have this dimple in the middle of my neck, see blue arrow. Also one side of my lower neck is still bigger than the other, it's the area with the shadow, marked with green arrow. My surgeon says dimple likely caused by a burst blood vessel and will fill back in and other part is swelling. But I'm worried given how much time has passed and they're still there and I'm wondering if anybody else can weigh in? Did he mess up? Thank you!

Sometimes a touch-up of the liposuction treatment is necessary. Your surgeon can also inject Kybella to attempt to improve the contour. I think there is some more submental fat that can be removed. Also, minimally invasive skin tightening with RF can improve your results. I would recommend that you return to your surgeon with these complaints. At 3 months, it is doubtful that things will improve on their own.

At three months your results are final.
A ruptured blood vessel is some type of creative explanation for not getting an ideal surgical outcome.
I found patience appreciate honesty and are much more willing to except in perfections if you're honest and explain that results from cosmetic surgery is never 100% perfect.
Generally correcting poor outcomes from liposuction is difficult and sometimes not possible.
 This is especially true for patients who have been over treated went to much fat has been removed.
Revision options are generally revision liposuction removing more fat around the dimple or trying to build up the defect with fat transfer.
Continue following up with your doctor, hopefully a board-certified plastic surgeon. Or consider getting a second opinion with an in person consultation.
