How long does sharp pains usually last after a lipo procedure of the abdomen. I got mine June of last year 2016. It is now November 2017. I also have developed dents throughout my stomach. Is this normal will the dents eventually go away? I also have a really fat pocket bulge at the top of my abdomen. Dr. said it was a lot of scar tissue.
Answer: Postop Liposuction Issues Global5. You need to check in with you surgeon because pain over one year postop is very unusual. The dents can be treated with minor revision. Good Luck!

Answer: Liposuction Irregularities--VASER HI DEF 4D Liposculpture Revision, ThermiRF, Fat grafting I recommend following up with your Doctor about the pains you're experiencing. You appear to be a candidate for a liposuction revision to correct your irregularities. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi definition physique expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Revision is not recommended until at least six months and sometimes up to a year Discomfort is to be expected following liposuction and can last for several months depending on the anatomic area and extent of the liposuction. Six months is common, and longer is certainly possible. The same holds true for contour irregularities. They can persist for months while the skin is undergoing the retraction process. Mild deformities should be observed and treated with massage initially. Liposuction revisions are typically not recommended until at least six months and sometimes up to a year.

Answer: Dents after lipo I am sorry to hear of your problems after your liposuction. Without a preoperaitve photograph it's hard to judge what's going on. The abdomen does seem to have some waviness. This can usually be made better with a touch up type lipousction and leaving some fat grafts rather than remove from the areas that are depressed. Pain, especially this long after liposuction is unusual. I would recommend you be seen by board-certified plastic surgeon in your region with demonstrated expertise in cosmetic body surgery.
