After 1 month and 20 days of FUE hair transplant, my forehead got swollen again. The next day, I was seeing pus formation on the transplanted area. When I take a shower, the pus goes away, but forms again when my scalp gets dry. Is this normal for FUE hair transplant? Have I damaged any hair follicles because of this? If not, what antibiotic would you recommend? I am asking this because I had done this surgery at a international country and I am outside right now...thats why

Answer: Pus in hairline one month after hair transplant It sounds like you have a grafts that was pushed too deep under the skin, now you have an ingrown hair! I would suggest contacting your doctor and asking what he suggests. If it persists, you should go back to visit him and have him deal with the problem. One of the issues travelling to another country for hair transplant surgery is that followup is very difficult and quality control is not there. Technicians do most of the procedures, under very little supervision from the doctor, Dr. Robert Jones
