Hello, Thank you for your question and posting your photos. You will see your full result 1 year after transplantation. Additionally it is very difficult to make any comment without before photos. But 8th month is a good time to review your hair with your surgeon. You could also consider PRP treatment to strengthen your hair.

Hello. It's a little early to be judging the results. It would -be interesting to see your immediate post op pics so I can tell where your proposed hairline should be. Follow up with your surgeon and maybe plan in another treatment if at 12 months you don't have the density you wish for. 

I would need a little more information.  Is one of the photos before the procedure and the other at 8 months post-op?  If so I can not tell any difference between the two.  800 grafts in that case should of given you at least some density in the new hairline.

Without "before" photos it's hard to comment on your result, though the left hairline looks a little thin.  Eight months postop is a good time to meet with your surgeon, review your photos and discuss your result.  Most likely you will want to wait a full year before drawing conclusions.

It's still a bit premature to declare a problem here. You are due for your first follow up in the coming quarter. Keep up with the Rogaine and /or finasteride that you have been educated to use and go in for a discussion with your surgeon. 

No one ever gets back their normal density. The question that should be answered is did you meet the expectations that you are your doctor set at the time of the surgery

You should have got the entire result by this time. Generally 3rd month post-transplant is the period when there is a photogenic evidence of the hair growth. Although it is very difficult to precisely comment without seeing the before picture of your to compare. With the picture you have sent, it seems like the hair when implanted were already dead and so it might have came of the skin. It is very hard to tell but there is very less scope of improvement now. We would suggest you to seek a follow-up with the surgeon who did the hair transplant for you and as if what would have possibly gone wrong.
